Martinella

Louise Lucille Ferrari Martinella, 92, of Scenic Hill Lane, Rimer-sburg in Madison Township, Clarion County, died Sunday evening at the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo, after a period of failing health.

Born April 4, 1915, in Sarah Furnace, Madison Township, she was the daughter of Luigi and Mary Magnani Ferrari.

She was a member of St. Richard Roman Catholic Church in Rimersburg and the Rosary Society and choir of the church.

Mrs. Martinella was a graduate of East Brady High School.

She was a longtime volunteer at the Rimersburg Senior Center and served meals at the Clarion Burger King to travelers on Christmas Day for 26 years. She also served 27 years as a health care volunteer at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Mrs. Martinella was an avid world traveler.

Surviving are two brothers, Leo T. Ferrari of Pittsburgh and Joseph H. Ferrari of Conneration; three sisters-in-law, Lucille Ferrari of Rimersburg, Grace Ferrari of Hershey and Cleo Serventi and husband, Lewis, of Perry, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews: Paul Ferrari and wife, Karen, Sheila Conner and husband, Bruce, Linda Campbell and husband, John, and Pearl Seybert, all of Rimersburg; Joani Greene and husband, Robert, of Potomic Falls, Va.; Denny Ferrari and wife, Sandy, of Clearfield; Debbie Senard and husband, Steve, of Maumee, Ohio; Rita, Scott and John Ferrari, all of Pittsburgh; Gary Seybert and wife, Darlene, of Sarasota, Fla.; Michelle Rechberger of Perry, N.Y.; and Debra Lou Jones of Keswick, Va.

Her husband, John R. Martinella, whom she married in 1936 in East Brady, died Feb. 25, 1983. She also was preceded in death by a 4-year-old daughter, Betty Dolores Martinella, Dec. 31, 1940; two brothers, Sunny J. Ferrari, Dec. 12, 2002, and Olisse D. Ferrari, Dec. 20, 1994; a sister, Theresa Ferrari, Feb. 14, 1977; three nephews, Dean and Timothy Ferrari and Ronald Seybert; and a sister-in-law, Pearl Ferrari.

<B>MARTINELLA</B> — Friends of Louise Lucille Ferrari Martinella, who died Sunday, May 13, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 758 Main St., Rimersburg. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Richard Catholic Church, Rimersburg, with the Rev. William Kuba, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County.A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
