Anne M. (Behning) Dufford

Anne M. (Behning) Dufford of Allegheny Township, formerly of Sarver, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, June 24, 2021.

Born in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Floyd and Marcella (Demharter) Behning.

Anne lived in Sarver most of her life, but expanded her horizons with the love of world travel.

She worked at Allegheny Ludlum in their security department for 29 years, and also enjoyed working at Jardines as head chef. In her retirement, she also delivered for Vocelli pizza, keeping her horizons expanded and enjoying all of the social interactions it afforded her.

Anne had a penchant for bowling, playing cards, pizza, gambling, reading and traveling. She loved all animals, especially Pomeranians.

In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen, who passed away in 2020; her son, John, who passed away in 2020; and her daughter-in-law, Karen L., who passed away in May of 2021; and her sibling, Cliff Behning.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Dufford Sr.; her children, Kevin (Nicole “Nikki”) Dufford, Lynne (Byron) Maloney and Edward L. Dufford Jr.; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Miranda, Alexandria and Dale; her great-grandchildren, Dakota, Tyler and Gracie; her sisters, Verda and Paula; her extended family; and many great friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all involved in the care of Anne over the last few months.

DUFFORD — A memorial Mass for Anne M.
