Kenneth O. “KP” Precise
Kenneth O. “KP” Precise, 74, of Butler passed away Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.
He was born Oct. 16, 1941, in Camp Hill, Pa., to the late Clarence O. Precise and Mamie (Wallis) Precise.
Ken lived and grew up in Tremont, Pa. He was a graduate of Tremont High School, then went on to study at York College. After meeting his wife, Judy, in Hanover, Pa., they resided in Hanover for seven years.
Ken worked in claims and sales for Nationwide Insurance until his retirement in 1999. Ken then worked as a bus driver for Campbell Bus, retiring in May 2014. He was a member of the Community Alliance Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, traveling out west and especially enjoyed his family.
Ken is survived by his wife, Judy L. Precise, who he married Sept. 7, 1963; one son, Mark A. Precise and his wife, Becky, of Okemos, Mich.; one daughter, Kendra (Precise) Hillard and her husband, Scott, of Toledo, Ohio; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemary Clemens of Pine Grove, Pa., and Clara Mae (Perry) Precise of Maryland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
PRECISE — In accordance with the wishes of Kenneth O. “KP” Precise, who died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, there will be no public visitation.A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, with the Rev. Dr. Dennis L. Krajacic officiating.Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
