Edward N. Veselich
Edward N. Veselich, 86, of Upper Burrell, formerly of Butler died Tuesday in his home.
He was born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 20, 1931. He was the son of the late John and Christina Benec Veselich and had been a lifelong resident of Butler before moving to Upper Burrell in 2016.
Mr. Veselich was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel in Butler.
He worked as a farmer at his family farm and had also worked as a truck driver for Lawrence Veselich Trucking and a mechanic for Bill Altman Trucking.
He enjoyed word searches, doing home renovations and was a fan of NASCAR.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Brenda) Veselich of Butler; his daughter, Lisa (Raymond) Kastelic of Upper Burrell; his six grandchildren, Casey Joe Veselich, Toby James Veselich, Nicholas Kastelic, Lily Kastelic, Lukas Kastelic and Olivia Kastelic; two sisters, Catherine Drescher of Sarver, and Dorothy (Albert) Paytas of Renfrew; and a brother, Lawrence (Dorothy) Veselich of Butler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Veselich; three brothers, John, Joseph and Robert Veselich.
