Unionville volunteer firefighters work on one of three vehicles involved in a crash that left at least two people hurt Wednesday night on Route 8 at Mercer Road in Center Township. The wreck happened about 8:30 p.m. when a Ford F250 pickup truck and a car with Texas license plates collided nearly head-on. Both vehicles were damaged. A third vehicle apparently got caught up in the accident and also was damaged. One person was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries, fire officials said.

State police are investigating but an accident report was not available this morning.
