Katherine P. McConnell, 95, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Argentine, Pa., the daughter of the late Michael Hattz and Anna Stadnic Hattz.

Katherine loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Gloria (Kenneth) McAnallen of West Sunbury; three sons, Gerald (Sherry) McConnell of Florida, Richard (Vickie) McConnell of Butler and William (Adrian “Condra”) McConnell of Butler; 10 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Christy of Butler; and her brother, Frank (Tracey) Malinski of Prospect.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas T. McConnell, who died May 26, 1987; four brothers; and two sisters.
