SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University will host a cyclocross race Sunday.

Mountain bikes, cross bikes, hybrids and cyclocross bikes will be permitted. Helmets must be worn by all riders at all times.

A cyclocross race clinic will be held at 10 a.m. at the SRU ski lodge. a beginners race (one or two laps) will take place at 11 a.m., followed by a kids race at 11:40 a.m. and an experienced riders’ race at 12:15 p.m.

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. There is no preregistration. SRU students and those younger than college age ride free. Fee is $20 for all other riders.
