Ronald Lamping Sr.

Ronald Peter Lamping Sr. of New Hope Road, Boyers, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday morning, Nov. 4, 2021. He was 82 years old.

Born April 14, 1939, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Peter and Josephine Lorenz Lamping.

He married Mary Louise Auer.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Pittsburgh.

Ron retired from Painters Local Union 6 as a professional painter.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Mary; one daughter, Pam (Frank) Daley of Pittsburgh; two sons, Mark (Toni) Lamping of Pittsburgh and Ron Lamping Jr. of Boyers; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Lamping; and a sister, Dolores Lamping.

LAMPING — Honoring his wishes, services will be private for Ronald Peter Lamping Sr., who died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021.

Arrangements were entrusted to Smith Funeral Home of Slippery Rock.
