Junior Women elect board, president

Hollie Stevenson of Butler has been elected as the GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Butler president for 2011-2012.Her executive board of officers includes first vice president

Angie Anderson and assistant treasurer

Tina Lourens.Stevenson has been a Jr. Club member for six years has served the executive board as assistant treasurer, treasurer and first vice president. She has worked on the finance, education, newsletter, community service, ways and means committees and cochaired Twilight Magic twice.She is the membership chairwoman for Butler County GFWC and on the resolutions committee for the GFWC of PA.Stevenson is currently involved in the pre-conference planning for the 2011 General Federation of Women’s Clubs State Convention.She serves on the board of the Butler County Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of the Golden Tornado Foundation and the Musicians Concert Band.Since 2001, she has been the vice president of complete custom itinerary services.A 1983 graduate of Butler High School, Stevenson has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Shenandoah University and a master’s degree in music from Virginia Commonwealth University.Those interested in joining GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Butler can contact Panei at stacypanei@zoominternet.net or 724-991-1090.The first meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Butler County Symphony office.
