CENTER TWP — The driver of a car that crashed on Route 8 near Clearview Mall this morning has died.

State police in Butler confirmed that the person died, but have not released the name of the victim or an official statement with details of the crash at 10:48 a.m.

A witness to the crash said the woman driver was weaving just before the car hit a metal utility pole.

Unionville firefighters and Butler Ambulance Service also responded to the accident.
