SARVER — Carl Bowser wasn’t to be denied.

Looking for his first Sprint Feature win at Lernerville Speedway this season, Bowser took the lead on the opening lap and didn’t give it up on the way to victory lane Friday night.

He held off a stiff challenge by AJ Flick to take the victory.

Sye Lynch was third, Michael Bauer fourth and Leyton Wagner fifth.

In Late Model action, Michael Norris overcame Mark Whitener after a mid-race restart and cruised to the feature win.

The victory gave Norris a spot in Saturday’s Firecracker 100.

The Modified Feature was a battle of Kings.

Rex King Jr. held off Rex King Sr. to get the checkered flag.

It was King Jr.’s second win of the season.

Chris Schneider dominated the field in the Pro Stock Feature, winning the race by seven-plus seconds.
