Judy Ann Mabbott
Judy Ann Mabbott, 76, passed away Dec. 28, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Judy Ann was born April 15, 1942, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Rue and Eleanor Snyder.
She was a graduate of Indiana State College and received her master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Judy spent 45 years as an educator specializing in speech and special education.
She married her husband, Kenneth, on May 25, 1963.
Judy was a woman of strong faith and was an active member of Lake Country Church. She was very involved in the social circle at the retirement community where she and Ken live.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, quilting and reading, but most of all, spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth E. Mabbott; her children, Trisha (Todd) Ramsey, Susan (David) Williams, Leanne (Dale) Miller, Paul (Robbi) Mabbott and Phillip Mabbott; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Dennis (Jeanne) Snyder; her aunt, Ruth Haaseth; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Paula Gundalch.
MABBOTT — Visitation for Judy Ann Mabbott, who died Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, was held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home, 6100 Azle Ave., Fort Worth, Texas.Service was held at 10 a.m. Monday in Biggers Funeral Chapel.Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
