Gary M. Nicklas

Gary M. Nicklas, 70, of Evans City passed away on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020.

Born June 18, 1950, in Butler, he was the son of the late Frederick Nicklas and Frances H. Grichar Nicklas.

Gary was a bus driver with STA, and previously with ABC and AJ Myers.

He enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid Steelers, Pirates and Pens fan.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Glenn F. (Robyn) Nicklas of Ellwood City; his grandchildren, Easton and Nolan Nicklas, and Jacob and Paige Alters; his brother, Roger (Deborah) Nicklas of Georgia; his sisters, Patricia Pizer of Zelienople, Nancy (Raymond) Knox of Callery, Evelyn (John Sr.) Stutz of East Butler, and Virginia (John) Ortman of Pittsburgh; his son-in-law, David Alters; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Alters; and his brothers, Fred and Robert Nicklas.

NICKLAS — Services for Gary M. Nicklas, who died Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, will be held privately by the family.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.
