Monpere

William E. “Bill” Monpere, 86, of Connoquenessing, formerly of Zelienople, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, while in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

Born March 24, 1936, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Henrietta Monpere.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Above all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren and family. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, William (Kathi) Monpere Jr.; his grandchildren, William (Callie) Monpere, Matthew (Whitney) Monpere, Angela Monpere, Katie Monpere and Frank Monpere Jr.; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Monpere; and his sons, Frank Ronald Monpere Sr. and Daniel Monpere.

MONPERE — Friends of William E. “Bill” Monpere, who died Friday, March 25, 2022, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the funeral home.

Bill will be laid to rest at English Lutheran Church Cemetery in Zelienople.
