The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is inviting the public to the free annual spring open house at the Linesville State Fish Hatchery at 13300 Hartstown Road on April 9 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This fun and educational event has a full schedule of displays and activities including a 10,000-gallon tank with native state fish, amphibian and reptile displays, a walleye spawning demonstration, instruction in determining the age of fish, filleting and cooking demonstrations and a show of basic fly tying and casting.
