Austin Rusch

Austin James Rusch, 26, of Petrolia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Austin was born Aug. 10, 1994, in Pittsburgh. He was the son of Matthew D. Leasher and Jill D. Rusch.

He was 2012 graduate of Karns City Area High School, and had been employed in the construction industry.

Austin enjoyed parkour, riding his dirt bike, and spending time with his daughter and siblings.

In his earlier years, he had attended the Crisswell Bible Baptist Church.

Surviving are his parents, Jill D. Rusch of Cranberry Township, and Matthew D. and Erin L. McGarrity Leasher of Petrolia; his daughter, who loved and adored him, Maci Elise Rusch, at home, and Maci’s mother, Janelle Hall; his siblings, Tanner J. and Chloe E. Leasher of Petrolia, and Landon I. Luffy of Overland Park, Kan.; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Barbara Rusch of Cranberry Township; his paternal grandparents, Larry and Carol Ann Leasher of Monroeville, and Brian and Joyce Dakin of Volant; his maternal stepgrandparents, Dave and Pam McGarrity of Akron, Ohio; as well as a number of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal stepgrandmother, Raylene Saceric.

RUSCH — Private funeral arrangements for Austin James Rusch, who died Wednesday, May 19, 2021, are under the direction of Hile Funeral Home of Karns City.
