Shawn C. Anthony
Shawn C. Anthony, 56, of Penn Township passed away suddenly Thursday at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.
Born Jan. 27, 1962, in Butler, he was the son of the late Charles B. Anthony and the late Kathleen Thomas Sutton.
Shawn was a graduate of West Forest High School in Tionesta. He was employed as a robotics operator at BNZ Materials in Zelienople for 23 years. Shawn enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Shawn leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Amy Anthony, whom he married Nov. 18, 1989; his children, Casey, Kelly, Troy and Nathan Anthony; his sister, Marcia (David) Schoppe of New Brighton; his father-in-law, Joseph Ludwik of Mars; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Shawn was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerry Sutton; and his mother-in-law, Susan Ludwik.
ANTHONY — A gathering of friends and family of Shawn C. Anthony, who died Thursday, July 19, 2018, will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, with the Rev. Brandon Johns officiating.
