Bernice M. Rosenberger
Bernice M. Rosenberger, 82, of Shippenville, formerly of East Brady, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday at Golden Living Center in Shippenville.
Bernice was born in Bruin, Butler County, on July 20, 1930, and was the daughter of Clifford and Mabel Corbett Garris.
She was a Methodist. She enjoyed spending time with her family, holidays, and playing bingo. She operated a personal care home in East Brady for more than 16 years.
She is survived by seven children, William E. “Bill” Rankin, Jean (Kenneth) Kamerer, Carol Blount, Randy (Diana) Best, Mark (Faith) Blair, Janice K. Kline and John E. Blair; 12 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; three sisters, Mary (Lynn) Kline, Irene Haugh and Ressie (Lawrence) Burris; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Best; and two brothers, Walter Garris and C.O. “Red” Garris.
ROSENBERGER — Friends of Bernice M. Rosenberger, who died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, will be received at Hile Funeral Home, 802 Grove St., St. Petersburg, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
A funeral service will be held from the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Ron Hunsberger of the St. Mark Chapel of Knox, officiating.
Interment will be at Allegheny Cemetery, Allegheny Township, Butler County.
