Gertrude R. Enslen McKinnis

Gertrude R. Enslen McKinnis, 85, of Evans City died Saturday morning at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Feb. 4, 1928, in Harmony Junction, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Catherine Burr Enslen.

Gertrude was a life member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Evans City.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd McKinnis who died Nov. 16, 2012, three sisters and seven brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Judith E. (John) Osborne of Prospect; two sons, W. David (Carol) McKinnis and Floyd McKinnis, both of Evans City; two sisters, Toot Critchlow of Renfrew and Catherine Enslen of Evans City; one brother, Wilbert (Barbara) Enslen of Renfrew; three grandsons, David L. McKinnis and John Jr. and Justin Osborne; and two great- grandchildren, Casen and Finn Osborne.

MCKINNIS — Friends and relatives of Gertrude R. Enslen McKinnis who died Saturday March 2, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.
