Concordia chorale will present cantata

JEFFERSON TWP — The Concordia Alleluia Chorale will present its annual Christmas cantata at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Haven I Dining Room at 112 Marwood Road, entrances 2A and 2B. The performance is free.

This year’s performance, titled “Mary’s Love Song,” was written and directed by Concordia Haven III resident Carol Oliver, who began playing piano for the cantatas 11 years ago and has been writing and directing them for the last five years.

Holiday gift bags available at library

ZELIENOPLE — Holiday gift bags are available at the Zelienople Public Library.

For a donation, patrons can choose a gift bag of books and related items.

Volunteers have packaged the used books in gift bags. There are gifts for all ages and interests.

Artist Diane Smith’s prints of Zelienople and Harmony also may be ordered through the library. They are on display at the library at 227 S. High St.

In December, the library is highlighting its holiday collections including Christmas music, craft books, adult and children’s holiday fiction and books about traditions and customs around the world.
