Lisa Camerlo and Hannah Walleck portray mother and daughter experiencing an “uh-oh” moment in Neil Simon's classic romantic comedy “Barefoot in the Park” opening Friday at the Freeport Theatre Festival.

ALLEGHENY TWP, Westmoreland County — Freeport Theatre Festival presents Neil Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park” for the second and final show of its 28th season.

The play, a whirling concoction of mismatched newlyweds, Greenwich Village eccentrics and a mother-in-law, opens Friday and runs through Aug. 27.

Performances begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Aug. 18-20 and 25-27 at the Steele Farm, 2498 White Cloud Road, two miles south of Freeport off Route 356.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for senior citizens and members of the military, and $10 for students.
