Mary 'Josie' Green
Mary “Josie” Green, 54, of Prospect passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 30, 1961, in New Castle to the late Frank Dudash and Marjorie (McDevitt) Dudash.
Josie was a 1980 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. She worked as a cook for 15 years at Eat 'n Park, then recently worked at Lifesteps in Butler.
Josie was a member of the North Main Street Church of God and enjoyed gardening, singing, bird watching and crocheting.
Josie is survived by her husband, James “Jim” P. Green Jr., who she married April 25, 1988; one son, Phillip J. Green of Prospect; one daughter, Megan E. Green of Prospect; one stepdaughter, Erin A. Roman and her husband, Michael, of West Sunbury; one grandson, Isaac Roman; three brothers, John Dudash of Transfer, Pa., Robert Dudash of Butler and Daniel Dudash of Butler; three sisters, Linda Myers of Round Rock, Texas, Rosemary Dudash of Butler and Tina Ritter and her husband, Carl, of Ellwood City; one sister-in-law, Lucinda Fleischer of Prospect; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randall Dudash.
GREEN — Friends of Mary “Josie” Green, who died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
