Donna Jane (McLean) Snyder, 68, of Butler went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born May 9, 1942, in Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, the daughter of the late Hugh “Tug” and Margaret (Case) McLean.

Donna had previously worked for Little Luigi's, Rax Restaurant and the ARC of Butler.

She was involved with many community projects and was a part of Butler Life, where she was a mentor to her fellow participants. She also was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Donna loved spending time with family and friends and doing craft projects with her grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Wendy and Mike Losser of Butler; three sons, Paul J. III and Lisa Snyder of Edison, N.J., Thomas H. Snyder of Butler and Richard M. and Crystal Snyder of Slippery Rock; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carol Linkhauer of McKeesport, Peggy Lutz of York, York County, and Vilma Bouchard of Greenock, Allegheny County.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Paul J. Snyder Jr.; her longtime companion, Richard J. Fry Sr.; and a brother, Albert McLean.

<B>SNYDER </B>— Friends of Donna Jane (McLean) Snyder, who died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, will be received at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 6 until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 200 E.
