Fitness in the Park Mondays will be held at the Carousel Shelter in Alameda Park.
Classes include yoga at 5:45 p.m. and Zumba at 7 p.m. The classes will be held rain or shine. There is a small participation fee.
The free Family Summer Concert series continues at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Odd Fellows gazebo. The Kittanning Community Band will provide musical entertainment.
The free Outdoor Discovery series returns at 6:30 p.m. July 4 in the Carousel Shelter with Let There Be Slime, in which a lesson will be offered on the slime produced by various animals.

[naviga:h3]Photography walk introduces nature[/naviga:h3]
A Photography Walk for Children will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Shelter 2 in Alameda Park.
Youths, age 7 to 12, can participate in the free introduction to nature photography through a discussion on camera and composition basics.
The hands-on event includes a parent-child game. Those participating are asked to bring a digital camera.

[naviga:h3]Night disc golf coming to Alameda[/naviga:h3]
The county Parks and Recreation Department has announced a new program at Alameda Park.
Night Disc Golf will be held at 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Masonic shelter, where check-in will be held at 8:45 p.m. and registration at 9 p.m.
The temporary course will be set up near the purple park. A brief players meeting will be followed by tee off at 9:30 p.m.
The event is open to all skill levels.
Prizes will be awarded in the various divisions.
