Roland J. Ferguson
Roland J. Ferguson, 79, of West Sunbury passed away at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at his home surrounded by his family.
Roland was born in Pittsburgh March 7, 1938. He was the son of the late Alexander and Marie Ferguson.
Roland enjoyed gardening and wine making.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1957 until 1962.
He worked at Rockwell Standard in New Castle and was an owner/operator tractor-trailer truck driver.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 852 in Harrisville.
On June 29, 1957, he married Nancy J. Grossman, who survives him, along with his three children, Debra J. Thomas, Daryl (Stacy) Ferguson and Denise (Mark) Kennedy; four grandchildren, Crystal and Carie Claypoole, Jessica (Garrett) Prorok and Mitchell Ferguson; four great- grandchildren, Kaitee, Emily, Madilyn and Gavin; and two siblings, Helen Loftus and Robert Ferguson.
Roland was preceded in death by one son, Douglas Ferguson; and three siblings.
