Melanie M. Addison, 46, of Lyndora, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, in her home with her family by her side.

Melanie was born June 18, 1975, in Pittsburgh.

She was a certified veterinary technician after graduating from Vet Tech Institute in 2009.

Mel loved her family and spending time with them. She loved outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, swimming and her rose garden. She liked collecting scratch-and-sniff stickers. Mel was known for her beautiful smile.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Dashio, who she had been with since they started dating Dec. 12, 1999; her sons, Adrian Addison and Austin Addison, both of Butler; a daughter, Riley Dashio of Lyndora; her mother, Judith (Farnen) Addison of West Deer Township; and many extended family members.

ADDISON — The family of Melanie M. Addison, who died Sunday, March 13, 2022, will welcome friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2942 E. Hardies Road, Gibsonia.

A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hampton Presbyterian Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.
