VENANGO TWP — Multiple volunteer fire departments are on the scene of a barn fire at 472 Cemetery Road, according to dispatches from the county communications center.

Some of the firefighters worked to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby house. The communications center got the first call at 8:40 a.m.

One person was injured and taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital after medical helicopters were grounded by the weather.
