Sally S. Napora, 94, of Renfrew passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 6, 1919, in Ford City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Soloman Rudosky.

She was a homemaker and the maker of the world's best pirohi. She most enjoyed her family, but also enjoyed gardening and attending S.S. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Surviving are one son, John A. Napora of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Sally Anne (Robert) Houllion of Butler; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Napora, whom she married June 14, 1938; her daughter, Marsha Kowal; six brothers; and two sisters.

NAPORA — Friends and family of Sally S. Napora, who died Thursday, June 19, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at S.S. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 21 Evergreen Road, Lyndora, with the Rev. Paisius McGrath to officiate.Interment will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Butler.A Parastas service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Society, Diabetes Foundation or the Blind Association.
