Lisa A. Sloan

Lisa A. Sloan of Grove City, formerly of Butler, passed away at home Saturday, following a lengthy illness with multiple sclerosis. She was 54.

Lisa was born in Butler July 17, 1963. She married Mark T. Sloan Aug. 14, 2003. He preceded her in death March 5, 2007.

She was raised Catholic and was a graduate of Butler High School. She was formerly a clerk at Kmart.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Erkens and Chelsea Erkens, both of Butler; two grandchildren; her father, Denny Matson, of Butler; and her in-laws, Susan Sloan and James Kutlus, of Grove City; and a sister, Brenda Maier, of Butler. In addition to her husband and her mother, Lisa was preceded in death by Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Bergbickler Matson and a brother, Gerald Matson.

SLOAN — A private family graveside service for Lisa A.
