Bartramian Audubon Society meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will feature a program on Mushrooms and Other Foods from Oak Trees. The meetings and programs are free. Bartramian Audubon Society is the local chapter of the National Audubon Society serving Butler, Lawrence, Mercer and Venango counties.

Star Party, sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, will begin about 5:15 p.m. Saturday, weather permitting, at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Regional Park, near the village of Russellton, Frazer Township, Allegheny County. This will be the last scheduled public event for 2018 at Wagman Observatory.
