HARRISVILLE — Harrisville Volunteer Fire Company will host a Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Harrisville VFC Fire Hall, 313 E. Mercer St.
The bazaar will include a Chinese auction, and refreshments will be available.

MIDDLE LANCASTER — Old Home Day will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Community Center, Middle Lancaster, about four miles north of Zelienople on Route 19.Ken Hoover will present “American Tapestry” at 1:30 p.m. This program includes information about families who settled this area.Leroy Bintrim will display antique kitchen utensils. Visitors also may take interesting items for a show and tell.Calendars, local maps, oil maps, township note paper and wooden cutouts will be for sale.Admission is free and there will be drawings for door prizes.The Lancaster Township Historical Records Committee is organizing the event. “Alzheimer's and the Holidays,” a program for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's or related dementias, will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at LIFE Butler County, 231 W. Diamond St.The program will help families manage caregiving responsibilities and holiday traditions. LIFE Butler County and the Alzheimer's Association will offer tips and ideas to make the season more enjoyable.There is no fee for this program, but registration is required.
