JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley Foundation received a $4,111 donation from Waste Management through the state Department of Community and Economic Development Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program grant.

Waste Management’s donation will benefit science, technology, and engineering and mathematics classes at the Seneca Valley School District.

EITC is a statewide program that enables businesses to make donations to organizations they choose from a commonwealth-approved list. EITC enables eligible businesses, like Waste Management, to apply credits against its tax liability for the tax year in which a contribution is made to support education in Pennsylvania.
