Lernerville closes 2021 racing season
BUFFALO TWP — Lernerville Speedway’s 2021 racing season ended Saturday with the track’s 13th annual Steel City Stampede.
The evening saw 11 ceremonial belt buckles earned on the track. New winners were crowned as well.
Indiana native Zach Hampton led the Sprint car feature from wire to wire to pick up his first career Lernerville victory. Sarver’s Michael Norris led from start to finish in the Late Model feature.
Chad Brachmann lost the lead, then got it back to win his third career buckle and take home the BRP Modified Tour series championship as well.
Bobby Whitling took the checkered flag in the inaugural Pro Stocks Dow Carnahan Memorial.
Matt Feder won the 100-lap Eduro, which had 76 cars entered. There were 284 cars in the pits overall.
