Barbara Vogel

Barbara Vogel, 74, of Butler Township, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021.

Born June 14, 1947, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph O. Trimble and Helen L. (Miller) Trimble.

Barb worked for many years as a sales associate at the Zelienople Greenhouse and for BW Wholesale Florist. She also took care of many children as their babysitter over the years.

She enjoyed quilting, a skill her grandmother taught her. She also loved cross-stitching, baking, cooking, playing cards, playing bingo, and listening to barbershop quartet music.

Barb will be remembered as a generous and kind person, who would do anything to help anybody. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Lorrie (Andy) Parrish, Lynda (Carl) Johnston and Kevin (Rebekah) Metcalfe; her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Colton, Emmalee, Curtis, Douglas and Samuel; her great-grandchildren, Peyton, Avery and Archer; her sisters, Patricia Brickner and Lisa Henry; her brothers, Douglas (Chris) Trimble and Larry (Christine) Trimble; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Marie Rosenwald.
