Schnur stands out despite Behrend loss

ERIE — Butler graduate Cody Schnur compiled 11 kills on 17 attempts Tuesday night in Penn State Behrend’s 3-0 men’s volleyball loss to Mount Union.

Schnur committed only one error in the Lions’ 25-16, 25-22, 25-22 loss.

SR wrestlers earn region honors

SLIPPERY ROCK — Several Slippery Rock High School wrestlers have earned berths on the District 10 All-Region 1 team for their efforts this season.

Making first team all-region are 120-pound sophomore Ryan Double, 189-pound senior Tony Pilosi and 215-pound junior Braiden Reich. Picking up second-team honors are 106-pound junior Lexi Doerflinger and 172-pound senior Justin Pearce.
