Both drivers hurt in 2-vehicle crash
BUTLER TWP — Two people were injured this morning when a pair of sport utility vehicles collided on North Main Street Extension near the GetGo gas station and convenience store.
Both drivers were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. The extent of their injuries was not known. Authorities did not immediately release their names.
Police said the accident occurred about 9:20 a.m. when a northbound Honda CR-V struck a southbound Dodge Journey that was turning left onto Filbert Road. The Dodge rolled onto its roof.
The Butler Fire Department and Mercer Road Volunteer Fire Department and Butler Ambulance Serviceassisted at the scene.
