Devin Cain Snow

Devin Cain Snow of Valencia passed Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 17, 1993, Devin was a gentle giant who had a happy soul and loved nothing more than helping please those around him, whether he was working with his dad, Rodger, or working with grandmom, Ladonne Weyman, at the Angel Food Ministry at Harmony Zelienople United Methodist Church. Sundays always started with breakfast at Country Kitchen and dinner at Eat N’ Park or sometimes cruising flea markets with dad, Rodger, and grandpap, Rodger D. Snow Sr.

Devin’s brothers, Jacob and Russell, were Devin’s biggest supporters and worked to help Devin every day of his life. Devin’s favorite friend was Shane Sawicki, and the two loved to work with Devin’s dad. Devin could also be seen out on the town with his grandparents, Ladonne and Don Weyman and Rodger Snow.

Preceding Devin in death were his great-grandfather, Jacob D. “Smokey” Snow; his great-grandparents, Victor and Marie Markich; and his great-grandparents on the O’Brien and Washalaski sides of the family.

Surviving Devin are his loving parents, Rachael and Rodger Snow; his brothers, Jacob and Russell; his great-grandmother, Mrs. Louise “Mimi” Snow; his grandparents, Ladonne and Don Weyman and Rodger D. Snow Sr.

Also surviving Devin are his grandparents on both the Snow and O’Brien side and many uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives.

Devin was a graduate of Presley Ridge Center for Autism and lived at Community Options facilities for an extended period.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Community Options and their staff, many of whom were a close part of Devin’s family.

Special thanks go to Ryan Fletcher, Eric Lamison, Pat Schneider, Malcolm Jamal the late Key, who was especially close to Devin, Bill Lauris, Shawn Hogan, Marvin Johnson, Shadenia Carr, Kiki Savage, Nate Williams, DeWayne Newman, Rodji Rainey, Jessica Kubas, Victor Ford and Justin Brown.

SNOW — There will be a celebration of the life for Devin Cain Snow, who died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at 11 a.m. Monday at the Harmony Zelienople United Methodist Church in Zelienople. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either the Autism Society of Butler County in Evans City, autismsocietyofbutlercounty.tripod.com, or the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, pittsburgfoodbank.org.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
