BUTLER TWP — Commissioners approved extensions for two building projects in the township at a Monday meeting.

Pride Performance, a baseball training facility planned to be built at 142 Evans City Road, received an extension, and ModWash car wash planned at 188 New Castle Road received an extension. The extensions allow for the developers to each have an additional 90 days to submit documents like building permits and developers agreements.

Township zoning officer Jesse Hines said at the meeting the developers of a Diehl Volkswagen planned for 245 Pittsburgh Road were also due for a resolution extension. However, the developers completed their paperwork and received a building permit prior to the meeting and will start construction before the end of the month, Hines said.
