Barbara J. “Barb” Bradford

Barbara J. “Barb” Bradford

Barbara J. “Barb” Bradford, 51, of Bruin passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born March 24, 1966, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Richard and Barbara Miller Staudacher.

Barb worked at Sheetz in Harrisville and her children and grandchildren were paramount in her life. She was gifted at crocheting and made special afghans for all of her grandchildren. Barb was a wonderful cook and loved making delicious meals for her family. She also enjoyed gardening and planting flowers and loved spending time by her pond.

Barb will be best remembered for her strength of character and for staying strong in the face of adversity. She was the rock that held the family together and despite her illness, never lost her positive attitude. Barb dealt with many complications but never wanted anyone to feel bad for her. She stayed focused on her family and was the bravest woman any of them knew. In the eyes of her loved ones, Barb won the battle with cancer because her strength and spirit never wavered.

She will be deeply missed by her father, Richard Staudacher, and his wife, Lillian, of Mars; her loving husband, Frederick L. “Lee” Bradford, whom she married Feb. 4, 1995; her daughters, Christina Waldenville and her husband, Allan, of Karns City and Megan Bradford and Taryn Bradford, both of Bruin; her grandchildren, Landen, Lienna and Lexie Waldenville and Brantley Bradford; her brother, Michael Staudacher, and his wife, Wendy, of Harrisville; and her nieces, Jaclyn, Julia and Jessica Staudacher.

Barb was preceded in death by her mother.
