Janet P. Schessler

Janet P. Schessler, 79, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Shaler Township, passed away Sunday evening in the comfort of her home.

Born on April 2, 1935, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William and Emelia Freehauf Pavlis.

Janet had been a phlebotomist for St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was a member of the St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church of Cranberry Township.

Surviving are her husband, Paul J. Schessler, who she married on Nov. 17, 1956; her two daughters, Michelle Schessler of Shaler Township and Cynthia Flinn and her husband, Richard, of Mars; her son, William P. Schessler and his wife, Laurie, of Gibsonia; and her grandchildren, Erica and James Flinn and Owen, Keelin and Aislyn Schessler.

Schessler — The friends of Janet P. Schessler, who passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at theMcDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the St. Kilian Church, at the corner of Clark and Cherry Streets, Mars, with the Father Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.
