Pearl P. Palmer

Pearl P. Palmer, 74, a lifelong resident of Butler, died at 12:55 a.m. Thursday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born April 15, 1936, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Weitzel and Pearl Daniels Weitzel.

Mrs. Palmer was Presbyterian by faith. She was a caregiver, taking many people into her home. Mrs. Palmer enjoyed arts and crafts, music, bingo and camping.

Mrs. Palmer is survived by one son, Darrell Elliott and his wife, Jeanie, of Butler; two step-grandchildren, Jared K. Kaib of Maryland and Shannon J. Kaib of Butler; one step-great-grandchild, Amelia Kaib; two brothers, Darrell Weitzel and his wife, Sandy, of East Brady, and Sonny Weitzel and his wife, Yvonne, of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Nancy McDowell and her husband, William, of Butler; 18 nieces and nephews.

<B>PALMER</B> — There will be no public visitation for Pearl P. Palmer, who died Thursday, July 29, 2010.Private memorial services will be held.
