Dorothy F. Crowley
Dorothy F. Crowley, 96, of Ellwood City passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Brighton Township.
Born Jan. 2, 1925, in Zelienople, Dorothy was the daughter of the late August and Virginia Langhans Fleckenstein.
She married John D. Crowley on May 15, 1954, and he preceded her in death July 28, 1981.
Dorothy was a 1943 graduate of Zelienople High School.
A member of Holy Redeemer Parish, Dorothy was a charter member of St. Agatha Christian Mothers and was a eucharistic minister.
She was a member of the Ellwood City Hospital Auxiliary, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Dorothy absolutely loved her two great-granddaughters, and she looked forward to their time together.
Dorothy is survived by her son-in-law, Tony Celli, her granddaughter, Claire (Jonathan) Fauzey, and two great-granddaughters, Maura and Ella Fauzey, all of Ellwood City; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Celli; two sisters, Ruth and Helen; and two brothers, Bernard and Paul.
CROWLEY — Friends of Dorothy F. Crowley, who died Monday, June 14, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Joseph A. Tomon Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellwood City.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Redeemer Church with the Rev. Mark L. Thomas officiating.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
