Fire damages house in Zelienople
ZELIENOPLE — Firefighters from multiple departments responded this morning to a house fire at 310 W. New Castle St. apparently caused during the installation of a heating and cooling unit in the attic.
No one was injured, said Rob Reeb, chief of the Zelienople Volunteer Fire Department.
Reeb said preliminary indications were that the heating and cooling workers were drilling a hole when the fire broke out at 8:30 a.m. There is no damage estimate, and fire officials will continue to investigate.
