Harold Barnhart

Harold Dunn Barnhart, 88, of Mount Chestnut passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 14, 1933, in Butler, and was the son of the late Richard and Catharine (Dunn) Barnhart.

Harold retired from Armco after decades of employment.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and woodworking, but above all else, he loved to collect and tinker with antique International tractors.

He was loved and will be forever missed.

He was the loving husband of Pat Barnhart, whom he was married to for 63 years.

He was the father of Randall (Kelly) Barnhart, Sandra Barnhart, Lisa (Scott) Marx, and Karen (John) Hanchosky; and the brother of Deanna Cawthorne.

Harold is also survived by his grandchildren, Rebecca, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Anthony, Corey, Collin and Courtney.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Barnhart; and his beloved grandson, Bryan Barnhart.

BARNHART — Arrangements for Harold Dunn Barnhart, who died Wednesday, June 9, 2021, are under the direction of SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold’s name to the Shriners Hospital for Children of Erie.
