Ruth L. (Harter Wilfong) Noah

Ruth L. (Harter Wilfong) Noah, 84, of Harmony passed away Tuesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born June 17, 1931, in Connoquenessing, she was the daughter of the late James and Fern (Rape) Harter.

Ruth was a faithful member of the Grace Church of Harmony.

She worked as a quality control tester at Paragon until her retirement in 1997.

She was famous for the wonderful wedding cakes she baked for her family. Ruth will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Patty (Mike) Ruby of Zelienople, David L. (Judy) Wilfong of Emlenton, Richard (Carol) Wilfong of Emlenton, Dale and his wife, Kathy, Wilfong of Baden and Linda (Richard) Hutchins of Harmony; her sister, Mary Ann Heimers of California; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Dean Wilfong; her second husband, William Noah; five brothers; one granddaughter; and one daughter-in-law.

NOAH — The family of Ruth L. (Harter Wilfong) Noah, who died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Peter J. Everett officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.If desired, memorial donations may be made in Ruth's honor to the National Kidney Foundation, 3109 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15213.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
