Virginia Edith Boda
Virginia Edith Boda, 92, of Butler, passed away Monday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
Born April 26, 1925, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Victor G. Mancini and Mary Cioffi (Mancini) Tiberi.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
Virginia worked as a designer for Gordon Draperies in Houston, Texas, and as a salesperson for Associated Hardware in Butler.
She is survived by two sons, John Michael Boda, of Rosenburg, Texas, and Robert Douglas Boda and his wife, Sandy, of West Sunbury; one daughter, Susan Dubea and her husband, Linton, of Harrisburg, N.C.; two grandsons, Kenneth Boda and Douglas Boda; three great-grand-triplets, Coby, Peyton and Micah Boda; one sister, Frances G. Guadagni and her husband, Mario, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Boda, who passed away Feb. 2, 2004; her stepfather, Frank Tiberi; two sisters, Gloria G. Catalfano and Dolores Botti; and three brothers, Victor G. Mancini Jr., Ferdinand L. Mancino and Joseph F. Mancino Sr., who died Sunday, Sept. 3, just one day before Virginia.
BODA — Friends of Virginia Edith Boda who died Monday, Sept., 4, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, at Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler.Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home to conduct a Scriptural Wake service.For more information, please visit www.martinfh.net.
