Meredith Profeta Riebschleger graduated with honors recently from the Drexel University College of Medicine.While at the college, she was the recipient of the Maurice C. Clifford, M.D., Leadership Award for Student Achievement and Service, the Janet Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation and the Women's Health Education Award.She served as the vice president of the American Medical Women's Association at Drexel. She also served as a regional student coordinator for the association and was coordinator of a pediatric AIDS benefit.Riebschleger was also involved in the Big Brother program, education mentoring, the student promotions committee, Health Start, Listen Little Sister and the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.The daughter of Vince and Jane Profeta of Cranberry Township, she is a 1997 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Notre Dame.She will complete a residency program in pediatrics at the University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.
