Megan McClean graduated summa cum laude with a degree in political science recently from Allegheny College.While at the college, she was named a Distinguished Alden Scholar and Doane Scholar and was listed in the National Dean's List and Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities.She was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the president of the Pi Sigma Alpha political science society.McClean has also earned the titles of Most Outstanding Junior Major in Political Science and Greek Woman Scholar of the Year for 2004.In addition to activities at the college, she volunteered as a mentor for at-risk youth in Meadville and coached swimming for the Crawford County Special Olympics.The daughter of Rick and Carol McClean of Butler, she is currently pursuing a master's degree in higher education administration at Penn State University.
