Allen

Michael Allen graduated from Slippery Rock University recently, earning a doctoral degree in physical therapy.While at the university, he was named the vice president of his physical therapy class.A1998 graduate of Butler High School, he is the son of Rich and Kathy Allen of Butler.Allen resides in Allison Park and is employed at East Suburban Sports Medicine in Monroeville.———

Megan Shevenock graduated from the University of Florida at Gainesville recently, receiving a master of fine arts degree in creative writing.While at the university, she was named a poetry finalist in the Atlantic Monthly 2006 writing competition. She was also a finalist in Swink's 2005 Emerging Writers' Competition. She also has several poems in publications and slated to be published.She also taught classes in creative writing and poetry at the university.The daughter of Linda Spiece of Meridian, she is a 1999 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and a 2003 graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts.Shevenock has received a full tuition fellowship to Ohio State University where she plans to pursue a master of fine arts degree in sculpture.———

Richard Mason II graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in technical writing and sound engineering.A 2002 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, he is the son of Rick and Mary Mason of Cranberry Township.———

Ronald Snyder graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in specialized studies from Edinboro University.A 2000 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, he also received an associate's degree in physical science in 2002 from Butler County Community College.He is the son of Robert and Betty Snyder of Cranberry Township.———

Kenneth Cahoon of Butler graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture recently from Roger Williams University.———

Anne Wonsettler of Slippery Rock graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in government recently from Millersville University.
