Ashley Bier graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown recently, receiving a bachelor of science degree in chemistry education.While at the university, she was named to the dean's list, Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, the Chi Lambda Tau leadership society, Chemical Society and the Beta Beta Beta biology honors society.She was also a member of the Dance Ensemble and Timeout Christian Fellowship and served as a supplemental instructor and chemistry tutor.The daughter of James and Deborah Bier of Renfrew, she is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School.Bier has accepted a position in the Slippery Rock School District.———
<B>Dana Wass</B> graduated from Slippery Rock University recently, earning a bachelor of science degree in parks and recreation/environmental education.While at the university, she received the PREEOutstanding Senior Award. She was a member of the Resort and Commercial Recreation Association and the Association of Bridal Consultants.She also completed internships at the Holiday Inn Metroplex in Youngstown, Ohio, and at the Hilton Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head Island, S.C.The daughter of Dave and Bobbi Wass of Valencia, she is a 2002 graduate of Mars High School.
